Landland is the creative powerhouse team of Dan Black and Jessica Seamans. Based in Chicago, IL and Milwaukee, WI, they are graphic designers, illustrators, and screen printers.
Black and Seamans began collaborating on posters in 2007 in Minneapolis, MN. Their unique style spoke to indie bands, with Bon Iver and Arcade Fire among their earliest clients. From there, it wasn’t long before they were creating posters for Phish, the Black Keys, and more. Seamans also creates movie posters for Mondo.
While their work often contains themes of decay and deterioration, there is always a comfortable warmth to the scene as well. There is no sorrow for days gone by, instead the image is natural progression at work.
