Jack White is the Man

Jack White is the Man

This just in: Jack White is going back on tour! It's been almost four years since the tour for Lazaretto, so we're pretty excited about this. Mark your calendars because tickets go live to the public on 1/26 at 10am (your local time, so maybe this is a good day to be in an earlier timezone).

In honor of this pretty exciting development, we wanted to take a minute to give Jack White some love on this blog.

Born in Detroit, White got his first big break at 19 for Goober & the Peas. When they broke up he and his then-wife Meg formed The White Stripes. Probably the greatest fake-sibling fronted band ever. Plus, they released their albums on white cassette's last year. Black ones coming soon!

Of course, The White Stripes was only the beginning. White went on to found two more bands (The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather) before going solo. Blunderbuss was released in 2012. Oh he also founded his own record label, Third Man Records in 2001. No wonder the man is already a legend.

Leaving aside his music for a moment, which is crazy we know, we love his posters. Whether you're looking at his bands or his solo work the art is incredible. Even on the busiest listing days, we can't help ourselves from pausing for a minute to admire the details. Check out our awesome collection of Jack White posters here. See for yourself just how great they are!

If this post has made you into a bigger Jack White fan (and we hope it has!) Third Man Records vault memberships. You could've bought those tour tickets early.

A final, fun tidbit for ya: While White lives in Nashville, TN where TMR lives. He also has a home in Kalamazoo, MI where Bell's Brewery lives.
