Don't worry if you have never heard the name, Kii Arens. This post is focusing on the American graphic designer, director, and pop-artist. He grew up in Minnesota, where music turned into a passion for him. Sometime in the 80s, Arens began working as a DJ. He was even a rapper known as 2-Percent for a brief stint. Then, in 1994, Kii and his brother Brynn started the band Flipp.

The group was signed by Hollywood Records and opened for bands such as The Ramones, Cheap Trick, and Oasis. Flipp never genuinely dispersed, but they haven't performed live since back in 2003.
